Hi,
While reload of an execution group on a single existing broker on the server, I get following Error BIP2818S.
How can I check "Is any operating system limit set too low to allow the command to run?" ?
MB v8.0.0.4 on Windows 7. Only one Broker exists on it., including Toolkit and MB Explorer.
I have checked the Authority and it exists on the Network CORP Domain, for the user ID using which mqsireload was executed.
Code: |
BIP2818S: Broker failed to create semaphore
An internal semaphore could not be created.
Use the system log messages to determine why the semaphore failed to be created. Contact your IBM support center if you are unable to resolve the problem.
BIP8081E: An error occurred while processing the command.
An error occurred while the command was running; the command has cleaned up and ended.
Use messages prior to this one to determine the cause of the error.
Check for some common problems:
Does the user id have the correct authorities (for example a member of the mqbrkrs group)?
Is any operating system limit set too low to allow the command to run?
Is the environment correctly set up?
Correct the problem and retry the command, otherwise, contact your IBM support center.

Did you run mqconfig or equivalent to verify shared memory settings?
Did you verify if any of those need to be changed for the broker installation by reading the corresponding platform installation guide in the infocenter? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

yea.. it was fine with MQ configuration(mqconfig) on the server/kernel level, for version 7.
At the last, the problem was with network id (not getting identified in CORP domain though it was part of it) which was part of mb and mq admin groups as well but when the command was given.
From windows network team, I didn't get much precise details about that issue with CORP domain.
Thanks for your inputs. _________________ *Life will beat you down, you need to decide to fight back or leave it. |
