Hi,
I installed IIB 9.0 in a windows cluster as documented by IBM.
I noticed that after some fail overs, the Broker service can not be started by the cluster manager. The Service gets stuck in the "starting" state.
The only way to recover is to hard boot the server.

I've used IIB 9.0.0.1 with WMQ 7.5.0.3 in a MSCS Cluster.
The Cluster Service has 11 qmgrs and 11 Brokers. This Production system has been failed over many times. This is running on Windows Server 2008-R2
I'm currently building and documenting (114 pages so far) a build with MQ 8.0.0.0 & IIB 9.0.0.2 on Windows Server 2012-R2. So far there have been no issues with failover but I do have a problem with Node preference.
By this I mean that if the Roles are running on Node-2 and Node-1 is down then when Node-1 comes up everything moves over to Node-1. This is all in a VMWare setup. IT is still under investigation.
Note that the brokers are defined as a cluster item and not started via an MQ Service object. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
