I am facing issues with connecting a mq client to an mq server after ssl properties are assigned to the client channel.
The error is that the channel did not supply the certificate to use during ssl or tls handshaking .
I need to know if there is a need to update ssl properties in any of the configuration files on mq client except keeping the required certificates on mq client. If yes what ssl properties needs to be defined and in which file. The certificates are already in place and ssl properties in channel have been assigned. |

In which way are you specifying the client's key store files, e.g. environment variables, mqclient.ini file, etc.? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Hi Jim,
MQ version and fix pack would help as well as OS platform of client and programming language of client. MQ is a bit too versatile for us to even try and formulate an answer without this information. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Your question suggests that certificates may be in place already at both the client and the queue manager, but your error description suggests that the client did not send a certificate to the queue manager. It would be helpful for you to post the error message in full, but also you should describe which certificates you have in place and what labels are assigned to them.
Cheers
