Hi all,
If I understand correctly, if we create a JMS message it is automatically mapped to the correct fields of an MQ message (such as corr ID, message ID etc). I have checked chapter 12 in using Java but I find it complicating (I have no MQ Series experience). Could someone give me a quick summary of the points concerning this subject? Thanks

Chapter 12 of the Using Java manual is the best place to look. The tables try to show you what JMS fields get mapped to either an MQMD field or a field in the MQRFH2. The other important thing to note is that the Outgoing message field mapping table lets you know what things you can set (ie, Message Object) and which ones are set by a particular method (ie, Send Method). The latter will frustrate you if you think you are going to set the field to a particular value only to find that it always comes back different.
Did you have a specific field that you are concerned with? |
