I have configured IIB - multi instance Broker on Windows servers. QM and brokers are working normally without any problems. But whenever I issue MQSILIST command it is showing wrong status about the broker,
If the broker is actually running, still the status shown as "stopped” (in the Task manager I could see the bipservices which is running)
If the broker is stopped, the status is shown as "running"
Kindly give me any info, if any of you experienced this type of issue

Try "mqsilist -v mytracelog.log" and see if the trace contains anything interesting! |

Thank you for your reply , I tried "mqsilist -v mytracelog.log" but it shows the log file is not present , i don't have much experience in IIB , can u give me steps
It is multiinstance broker so the broker and EG logs are written in another server , do i need to check any log there? , it is a windows server.

If it's a multi-instance broker, then it's not running on the secondary machine until the primary machine has died.
So the status of the broker on the secondary machine, under NORMAL AND EXPECTED CONDITIONS, should be 'stopped'. |
