Hello All ,
Am facing the BIP2217E : ImbFileResourceManager::preprocessFileName Exception with my web service flows . The flow suddenly stopped working , what might be the reason ??
my research regarding this exception says , deleting the existing bar from EG & restarting EG after 30 secs can solve the issue .
Here are the links
http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=347965&sid=f123c839d2466f32528e16fea713e140
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg1IC88825
The above links talk about WMB 8.0.0.1 issue , but am working on IIB v9(MQ 7.5 , on linux ENV )
& still facing the ImbFileResourceManager::preprocessFileName Exception. can this happen in IIB v9 ?
To add , I have deployed another bar containing the same WSDL in the same EG , could this have made not to work ?
can we deploy two different applications containing same WSDL in same EG ? If so , does it show any effect on the other flows ?

if the applications are deployed as applications (named container) it should not be a problem. If the applications are deployed as independent resources (anonymous container) it is definitely a problem as only one instance of the wsdl should ever be deployed in any container...
If in doubt delete application before redeploying...
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

THanx for your inputs @ fjb_Saper !!
Lemme Explain your clearly ,
I have an Application 'A' with 'n' number of flows & a message set containing WSDL file which has been referenced to the Application 'A' [manage included projects] . I have generated a bar manually (new --> barfile) and deployed it onto EG .
I have an Application 'B' with 'n' number of flows & a message set containing same WSDL file which has been referenced to the Application 'B' [manage included projects] . I have deployed the PI (project interchange) onto the same EG .
Here , Both the Bar & Application contains the same WSDL , but the WSDL filenames are different .
can this create two instances of WSDL?? will restarting the broker will solve the issue ? how can i permanently fix this issue ? |

@fjb
Here , I have Five Different Applications that must be invoking the same serviceProvider using SOAP nodes.
As of now , i have created five different message sets(contains WSDL) for five diff applications .
Now , I wana convert the message set into library and refer it to all five applications , Is it advisable ?
Will it create any problems while re-deploying the flows ?
can it act as a solution to BIP2217E : ImbFileResourceManager::preprocessFileName Exception ?? |

yes, no it should not and possibly...
Make sure you use the wizard to import the wsdl into the message set. The error you see could come from an undefined reference in the wsdl. _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
