Hello,
during the 1st installation of Websphere MQ 7.5 on Linux, I would like to be able to create a response file, to be able to rerun the installation in silent mode for other environments.
Can anyone tell me how that can be done?
Thanks,
Laurent LANDREAU

PS: Knowledge center mentions it for Windows via MSIEXEC, there is mention of a response file for WAS but have seen nothing for MQ on Linux. _________________ Laurent LANDREAU

Go to google. Search for 'mq unattended installation unix' _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

check out the different possible parameters for the GUI/command line install. I'd like to believe that one of them creates a response file... _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Hmmm.
why the need for a response file when all it takes to install the product is to accept the license and run
Code: |
yum -y install *.rpm
|
Never had the need for anything else especially when you can put the files anywhere you like using links. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |
