I have an interesting situation. I send a message from an OS/390 2.1 queue manager to an NT 5.2 queue manager. The customer on the NT side is doing a Get with Convert option set. He gets garbage. We interrogated the data, and everything looks right. We then set the Channel to convert on send, and everything works. Any ideas? This also fails with an NT 5.1 CSD 6 queue manager.

Reset the system back to where the application gets garbage. Send a message from MQ/390 to the NT queue. Using the IBM sample amqsbcg, dump the message and its header to a file and post here so we can look at its format.
Make sure there is no sensitive or confidential data in the body of the message. |

Problem solved. Come to find out, the application program that was doing the get did not have a buffer space large enough to get the complete message. He increased the buffer size and everything works.
