This is an internal file transfer. Input applications will be sending me batch files using different protocols(,csx, excel etc..).Probably in a FTP. I want to transform all these files into a single a single protocol and route. I would be using Sterling B2B integrator for transformation and routing. Do i require a connect direct or MQ FTE in this use case?

It depends - you talk about using ftp then you talk about Stirling. If you're using Stirling then ConnectDirect is probably in use unless Stirling has been configured to use ftp in which case you need ftp.
Basically you need the correct node for the file transfer protocol in use. Unsurprisingly.
I don't immediately see why you'd bring MQ FTE into the mix when you already have Stirling. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
