Hello Guys,
We are running a V6 broker with MQ V7 on a AIX server. The config manager is installed on remote windows system. The setup was working till last week.
The first problem I see is, when I look into the Message Broker toolkit there is exclamation mark on few of the message flows. This usually happens when a flow is not running. If I start the flow I get the message that the configuration message is processed successfully. But I dont see the flow started yet or at lease the exclamation mark is still present.
When I try process a message into the input queue of one of the message flow nothing happens. I mean, the message just disappears from input queue (so the flow is getting triggered), and it does not reach the target/error queues. Nothing is written in the user.log file. I enabled the trace also. It indicates me that the flow is triggering and at the end of it some configuration message is written to SYSTEM.BROKER.EXECUTIONGROUP.QUEUE Queue.
Please help me on this strange problem
Let me know if you need any other details. |

No longer working? No extended support from IBM? ($$$) UPGRADE!!!
Go directly to IIB9!!!!
The alternative: bounce the box... MAYBE it will work again???
Have fun _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Well.. We are in the process of upgrade.. The testing I am doing is part of the pre-work for the upgrade..
We need to figure out that these flows are working fine with the messages we are testing before the upgrade |

If you are sure the messages are disappearing then you might want to involve your MQ support person to trace the message, it could have landed in the DLQ. |
