Hi All,
Besides Acord, is there any other canonical data model (xsds) for the insurance industry that is free/open source ?
Thanks,

Hi venky,
please note that Acord is not free, you need to pay to get access to the whole data model , documentation and recommendations (disclaimer: i was searching for data models for insurance industry early this year, by this time is can be different, please check my info).
In my case, i've developed a simple data model for every in/out xml message that flows in my "SOA environment". My strategy is: start small, build strength and then scale up.
I've started with a simple data model for every xml message that flows in the environment and build a strong governance around it ("force" every development team to use the model) . With this solid »IT governance the next steps would be the evolution to a industry standard (accord or other ).
I'll follow this topic , it's a subject i'm really interested in
Best Regards
