Here's some feedback on the Learning Services IBM MQ Series CBT's that IBM references to use as prep for the exam.
I've taken both the courses on MQSeries Technical Introduction and System Admin and have also used the CBT's. The courses were VALUABLE in learning allthough I've taken them a while ago and as any course, if you don't practice what you learn all the time then you tend to forget it quickly. I'm not sure what the cost of the CBT's are since I took both the courses and CBT's at work (paid for..thank goodness) but I wouldn't recommend anyone using the CBT's. There is a bit of interactivity and they do ask you some questions at the end of each chapter but I thought the GUI wasn't that great. It's all in .htm files put together with some sort of slide type application. If your a newbie then you might get some use out of the Tech Intro CD allthough for the money you are better off reading the Manual. It basically covers what all the objects are...
Note: Not sure about anyone else who's used the CD's but I even had problems getting the sound to work on it properly. Eventually I did but it was tedious.
