Hello All ,
I Understood the behaviour of two different flows , where one flow has Transaction mode set to YES on MQINPUT node and another flow with Transaction mode set to COMMIT on COMPUTE node ( here , inserting values into DB) .
and i have also designed another flow setting the Transaction mode to YES on MQINPUT node (Threshold backout set to 2) & COMMIT on COMPUTE node . After successful SQL insertion operation in compute node , am generating a user defined exception inorder to give rise to an exception ! & then i found flow retrying(as excepted) n updating DB twice(DB records are updated) .
So, here , even though my transaction has been failed , my DB is being updated . My doubt is , is it sensible to use this type of Transaction mode settings within a single flow?
If so , at what times/scenerios we must go for ?? |
