I hit this while i was doing some testing. I wanted to get an idea from other MQ users if at all anyone has come accross such a thing. And if there is any significance of such a thing at the first place.

Here's the scenario.

Put 2 messages on queue like this.
1st Message, Message in group
Segment 1, Persistent
Segment 2, Non-Persistent
2nd Message, Last message in group
Segment 1, Persistent
Segment 2, Non-Persistent

When you try to retrive the messages, or in the event of failure. Whats the state of affairs.
But before anyone tries to think of any answers in this direction, i wanted to ask, if this Does make any business sense. Has anyone used it. If yes, what were the circumstances.

Cheers.
Kumar
