Hi Techie's,

I have installed WMB v7.0 & WMQ by creating a local user on my machine. Now I want to use both WMB & WMQ using my domain user.

Just want to understand that which all services or components needs to be changed for this?

I tried adding this local user in MQM, admin, mqbrks groups. But while I'm trying to start my broker and queue manager using domain user it is not getting started. I am getting following exception again and again:

"The Queue Manager ended for reason 545284208"

Appreciate your suggestions.

You need to read the sections of the WMQ Installation manual about installing WMQ Into a Domain. you need to create a DOmain user with special rights for the WMQ Service to run under.

There are many, many posts in the WMQ Installation & Configuration section of this forum that also discuss problems that people have encountered in this process. (some even have my name on them!)

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

You re-instaled WMQ when you didn't need to.

The 'Prepare WMQ Wizard' would have done all the bits with the Domain User that you needed to.
The re-installatino would have called that anyway...
