Hi All,
I am facing an issue when setting up broker in a AIX server
WMB Version: 8.0.0.4
WMQ: 7.5.0.0
I have created Queuemanager, created Broker, started both succesfully.
But when I am trying to create an execution group, its getting failed with the following error:
Quote: |
BIP1046E: Unable to connect with the queue manager (Either the machine does not have an IP address, or no cryptography service is available).
The utility encountered a problem while attempting to connect to the queue manager to put a message to the broker's request queue.
Ensure that the correct connection parameters have been supplied to the utility. Also ensure that the queue manager is running and that the current user is able to access the queues beginning SYSTEM.BROKER. If this error text includes an MQ reason code, look up the meaning behind the error in the Application Programming Reference guide and proceed as appropriate |
I have referred this thread, but my issue not resolved yet.
Any ideas or hints? |

Have you tried this with both the localhost, the local ip and the HA ip? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

Thanks fjp_saper.
I have tried disabling the channel authentication itself.
Also have tried setting chlauth to the 'SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG' channel
Quote: |
SET CHLAUTH(SYSTEM.BKR.CONFIG) TYPE(ADDRESSMAP) ADDRESS(*) USERSRC(CHANNEL) |
But still no success.. |

It was a silly mistake we missed to correct in the server's host file.
The AIX server and another server were pointing to the same host name. Updated the host name to the correct name and issue got resolved....!!! |
