Hy,
we have MQSeries running on OS390. Is there a way to use the database nodes in MQIntergator to connect, select and update data on an informix Database running on Sun Solaris?
thanks Egils |

Egils,
Please post the details about where is your MQSI is running. I am sure IBM do not have MQSI implemantation for OS390.
You can send messages from OS390 to broker running on UNIX system.

Hy Uday,
thanks for your response. Here's the information you asked for:
We are running the MQS Integrator on Win2000-Clients.
We have the broker running on OS390. We have Queue's managed on OS390 and Solaris. Here's what I'm trying to do. I'm converting incoming XML to CWF and process it on OS390. If that is done correctly I'm taking the XML and putting a new message to a SunSolaris Queue where a cobol program is processing the data. The programm just writes the
data to an informix database without any business logic.
Instead of using a program on the SunSoaris side I would prefer to write the data directly from the flow (by using the database nodes) to the informix database.
Do you know if it is possibly and if, where I can get some more information about this?
Thansk in advance for your help

Hi Egils,
I believe MQSI doesn't support Informix database, so you cannot use it from your message flows. _________________ Kiran
