Hello,
In recording a media image of a local queue, does it create a temporary file? If YES, where does the temp file located?
C:\>rcdmqimg -m QMGR1 -t qlocal Q1
Media image for object Q1, type qlocal recorded.
Or with above message "qlocal recorded", is the recorded qlocal generates a file? What directory it is resides or How do I verify it?
Thanks,

Hello ,
The Qmanager writes the media images on the linear or circular log,and if the object has any damage ,detected for example during a restart, the qmanager by itself starts a media recovery using the media
images from the logs . |

You can only record media images if you are using linear logging, and the images will be recorded in the MQ recovery log.
If the object is damaged when a media image is requested, an error will be reported and no image will be taken. rcrmqobj should then be used to explicitly recover the object prior to taking a new image via rcdmqimg. |
