If you put the message via an alias queue, the message will get the non-persistence or persistence defined in the alias queue definition or it will take from the target queue.

From the first object name MQOPENed - in your case: the attributes if the QAlias will determine persistence -only if the app specified persistence-as-q- def.

It should perhaps be said that using persistence-as-q-def should generally be discouraged should only be used in certain circumstances. It is generally far better for the application to decide whether each message it sends should be persistent or not rather than relying on the definitions of the queues it uses. This avoids problems where the administrator may have set up a queue incorrectly as well as problems with shared queues, such as transmission queues.
