I'm getting the following error when attempting to import a large Message set:
There may insufficient memory to complete the operation.
Increase the amount of virtual memory available on your system and retry the command.
Has anyone else experienced this? If so, what have you set your virtual memory to? Mine is currently 2046 MB.

How big is your Message set? What is your configuration managers MaxJVMHeapSize parameter set to? Try increasing this parameter using mqsichangeconfigmgr command, also try increasing your DB2 transaction log size for MRM database.

The Message Set was 888kb. My System Administrator made a change that fixed the problem. He changed the appl_ctl_heap_sz from 128 mb to 512 mb.
