Hello,

am not good at scripting and appreciate anyones help.

We have solaris and z-linux environments with MQ7. I need a script which can move the FDC files to a folder (TEMP) under same FDC folder.

very simplistic:

Code:

#!/bin/ksh
mv /path/where/my/FDC/*.FDC  /path/where/my/FDC/TEMP

Most monitoring/automation tools (Omegamon, for example) offer the capability to invoke scripts when events occur, like the creation of an FDC file.

Use a tool (like sch) to run the script on each server.

You might do better posting this in a Unix forum rather than here, given the nature of your request.
