I am working on a project to integrate to a Legacy app running on a System/390 mainframe that is running CA's IDMS release 17. I am looking into options for both inbound and outbound connectivity. I noticed that both IBM and 3rd party providers have IDMS adapters available for WebSphere, but havent been able to find much information on them.

The assumption is we will have no COBOL developer to do any kind of customization on the IDMS/mainframe side of things. Also, my background is Message Broker and I know little about IDMS or mainframes.

Any thoughts?
