please tell me the location for qm.ini and mqs.ini in Windows 7.

what is the use of mqs.ini and qm.ini

What version of MQ are you using. As your own link says, on Windows the QM.INI has effectively been stored in the registry. It's only in the latest releases, 7.1 onwards I think (but don't quote me) that there is an actual QM.INI file.
