Hello Team,
I have specified as min occurrence is '0' and mac occurrence is '0' for fixed length record dynamically by using repeat reference property in message set then i am getting parsing error .
If I have specified as min occurrence is '0' and mac occurrence is '1' for fixed length record dynamically by using repeat reference property in message then its working properly.
Is it possible to specify max occurrences is '0' for fixed length record?
It's Very urgent..
Can any one help me..
Thanks in advance. |

What is the purpose of having the field defined if both min and max occurrences of it are = Zero?
As I read it, with both = 0 you can't have a value. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

I assume that you are using the MRM parser, and I assume that you are on v7 - otherwise you would be using DFDL.
Please provide at least two example messages that show the data format that you are trying to model.
Please provide a description of how you have modelled the fixed-length field ( MRM property settings ).
Please quote the error message that you are getting.
Without this information, it is very hard to give any useful advice. _________________ Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way you're a mile away, and you have their shoes too. |

Each order consists of one O Rec and any number of P Rec and SRec. Each flat file may contain multiple orders. The Export_inv_no will be the same for every record in an order. That is the key for extracting orders from the input Heineken file.
P min and Max occurrences 1-100 P Recs
S min and Max occurrences 0-100 S Recs. |
