Hello!
We are migrating our MQ Server from HP-UX v5.3 and AIX v7.0.
We have a queue that receives 2 different correlation IDs (A and B) and a trigger process (trigger type=FIRST) that executes a script that runs 2 C programs sequentially that get the messages for each correlation ID.
When we put a different correlation ID (C, for example) by mistake on the queue we noticed that the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.INITIATION.QUEUE started growing the number of messages, and of course, the wrong corrID message was never read.
Can we add something to our C programs that clean the message in the initiation queue even if the trigger program doesn't read all the messages on the queue?
Thank you very much in advance for your help!

What about making them expire automatically?
Then you don't need to read them _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
