Hi All,
Project 1 : We have a flow where we have used AggregateControl node. This is under EG say EG_1. We have reused the same flow for other project say Project 2 which performs the similar functionality as well, but this is under a different EG say EG_2. The aggregate control node has the same name in the properties tab.
Now, the project 1 is assuming that few msgs are being absorbed by Project 2 and this is because of the same Aggregate name though the queue names are different for project 1 and project 2.
I had thought that the Aggregate control node scope is only for a single EG.
Could anybody help me on this issue?
Thanks |

The Aggregate Name must be contextually unique within a broker. You can have only one AggregateControl node and one AggregateReply node with a particular Aggregate Name, although you can have more than one AggregateControl node with the same Aggregate Name, see Using multiple AggregateControl nodes. Do not deploy a fan-in flow to multiple execution groups on the same broker; results are unpredictable. |

Thanks for the replies.
But still I am not very comfortable with the understanding that how does Aggregate node in project 2 uses the message from project 1.
I read a lot about aggregate nodes, but havent got a thorough understanding on this.
Can anybody please help me understand the concept that when such situation occurs and why? |
