Hi,

I am trying to use "Base64.encode" to encode a string in JCN , but the run-time is throwing an error

Platform : Window 7
WMB Version : IIB 9
Error : "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/broker/javacompute/Base64"

## Having add this jar to the class path.

Can any one help us in getting out from this

It's an undocumented class. Perhaps you shouldn't use it?

Try something like javax.xml.bind.DatatypeConverter instead.

Wasn't this the way to do this in V6.1 when esql was missing this function. You defined a FUnction call to this java class.
Mind you, 6.1 was a long time ago.... any may it rest in peace with all those phantom EG's etc.

Won't we be getting the V10 announcement any day now?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Or call out to the supported ESQL function?
