Hi,

I just wanted to check what are the advantages of using SCA request node (with MQ binding) instead of using using a MQ output and a MQ GET node to do the same work.

I have tried using SCA and I can see there are lots of problems in it, for instance, I cannot configure the reply to Reply to QMGR information at run time, IBM have developed an APAR for this. However, this is not the only problem, now I notice that when I am using an SCA input and SCA reply, I dont have any way of overriding the reply to Q name in the MQMD once the SCA Input node accepts the message, even if I change the MQMD details in my flow, the SCA reply node takes the reply to Q name that comes in the input request which is not correct(as the reply to Q name is the Q name of the sending application, not my broker Queue manger's queue name).

All of these problems me wonder if there are any major disadvantages of using just MQ to do the work for me instead of using SCA node. So can you shed some light on this please.

Thanks
