Hi,
Im pretty new to WMQ, im developing an Java application that need to make a client connection using channels, ports and the hostname to connect to a remote queue.
Its works for local queue on my test system, but i receive the error for remote connection
MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2058
com.ibm.mq.MQException: MQJE001: Completion Code 2, Reason 2058
Please advice, is there a sample implementation or a guide i could work with? |

So what did you do wrong in your code? _________________ MQ & Broker admin |

What step(s) did you follow to configure the remote connection at the both the WMQ level and within your code?

Yes. There's a whole web site of data (known as the InfoCenter) and the product ships with sample code. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

The MQ Information Centre can be found here:-

Suggest you search for things such as java client connections.
There are various pages that will help you get set up. If you need more help, post further questions back here.
Cheers
