HI guys,
I am new to WMQI.
and new to this forum too... it seems there are lots of WMQI guru here.

thanks for organizers of this forum.

well my first question is what is RCD node. i can see lots of nodes.... but what is a RCD node.

RCD node is what we use when we need WMQI to parse a message into another form... For example from fixed format to XML or vice-versa.

When a message was read using an MQinput node, WMQI parses the message as XML (as an example. the MQinput node can be defined to parse as something else). When we need WMQI to reparse the message as something else within the flow, we use an RCD node.

Reading up on 'parsing' may help.

this is IBM supplied MQNode.Go thr' content of document for specifics.
