I've already started rolling out 7.5.0.2 !! _________________ Well, I don't think there is any question about it. It can only be attributable to human error. This sort of thing has cropped up before, and it has always been due to human error. |

There is an important fix in 7.5.0.3 for IIB/Broker Input nodes
http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21664476&myns=swgws&mynp=OCSSNQK6&mynp=OCSSKM8N&mync=E
However, don't try to download the 7.5.0.3 client via the fixpack pages because the link is broken(as of the time that I posted this). FixCentral seems to have it all sorted though _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

I think that is a poorly written tech note.
If you click on the link to the APAR, it says all applications are vulnerable, not just WMB/IIB. And only if you have installed the Advanced Message Security part of MQ.
But the way they wrote they note smdavies99 linked to it gives the impression there is a memory leak in the WMB MQInput node.
I submitted feedback on the bottom of that page asking them to make the note more accurate. _________________ Peter Potkay
