Can anyone please help me in parsing (pound) symbol - £ in DFDL initiator? I am getting data for amount as - for example - £89.00. I need to get only 89.00 only. I have tried using hex code for £ in initiator but didn't work.
The Unicode character for a pound symbol is 0xA3. So in a DFDL String Literal, the correct value is %#xA3. What 'hex code' did you use?
Remember that in your input document, a pound symbol could be represented in variety of ways, depending on the character encoding. Make sure that you have set the 'Encoding' property correctly in your DFDL model. _________________ Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes.
