Hi all

We have the issue when a file is not picked by the monitor. The status of the monitor is listed as "Stopped". Other monitors on the same agent are "Started". So, the question is - what is the status of the monitor? I do not even see the commands to start/stop the monitor, only create/delete. How can one restart stopped monitor? What are the reasons for the monitor to be stopped? Google did not help...

Hi there,

Firstly, have you checked the state of the agent with which the monitor is associated? Resource monitors are associated with an agent when they are created, and will be started and stopped in line with the running status of the agent.

If the agent is showing as started, the next action should be to check the agent's log for details of any errors which may be preventing the agent from starting the resource monitor successfully.
