Hi,
I am looking for a suitable solutionfor the following setup. Currently, we have an inhouse MQSeries which retieves messages from an external MQSeries. The messages that are then held on a queue on our internal MQSeries are afterwerds retrieved by a Java application using the JMS libs. This works like a charm 
Now, the problem has become, that the external partner needs to send larger messages. We are abslolutely able to increase the allowed message sizes to handle this. Unfortunately, the external system cannot be changed to allow more than 4M messages. The partners approach would be to introduce message segmenation on their side.
Since the IBM JMS libs are currently not able to handle segmented messages, we were wondering, whether this can be handled by our MQSeries instead? So, can the MQSeries reassemble the messages out our side, so that our JMS apllication can just retrieve one single big message instead of segments?

You'd need an application in between that retrieves the segmented message and puts it unsegmented to its target queue (obviously non JMS)
