Hi,
I am currently planning to upgrade the following:
Solaris 2.6 -> Solaris 8 (64-bit)
Oracle 8.1.7 -> Oracle 9.2.0 (64-bit)
OCDS 4.1.2.0 -> Server Express 2.0.11 (64-bit)
Sun Workshop v 5 - > Sun Forte v 6.2 (64-bit)
Our current version of MQSeries is 5.2.
I would like to know if this configuration is supported, from an IBM MQSeries point of view.
As far as I am aware, MQ Series only runs in 32-bit mode. The cobol applications that are developed at our site use MQ Series to interrogate data on the database. Our local Cobol support has told us that since the MQ libraries are 32-bit, and applications using these libraries would have to be compiled in 32-bit.

According to a previous thread,

MQSeries server is available in 64bit only on Tru64 platform, while MQSeries 64bit clients are available for AIX and Solaris. _________________ Brandon Duncan
