My question is that can a fileread node read multiple files at one go from folder by using the wildcard for filename as * ?

or does it do this one by one ?
say for example i have placed a pdf file , a jpg file and a tex file under my directory /var/files ...
can i make the fileread node pick up all 3 files in one shot ?
If yes how ? Maybe the offset thingy... not sure ..

If anyone has a clear picture i will appreciate the help..

Why don't you try it and see for yourself?
The answer is probably 'No' but it shouldn't be that difficult for you to try it out for yourself. That way you will know for certain.
