I have been trying to install WMB v8 toolkit on my machine which has Windows XP as the OS and all the prerequisites to install WMB toolkit. But somehow while installation I get this "JVM cannot be created" error and the installation aborts.Although my machine has java installed and besides I have
WMB v7 toolkit installed and running fine,I am short of solutions to look for.I have even tried to set the java path in environment varibales but that does not help either.Does anyone have a possible solution to this ?
Are you getting this when you run the installer, or trying to start the tooling, or trying to create a broker? The reason I ask is that these are quite different scenarios.
Usually the error message is good enough to give at least some kind of indicator as to what the error might be. You're indicating that you might not be getting very much information at all? If the error is during the install - there's a nice log file that should capture the error when trying to create the JVM - does that give you any more information?
Post which phase you're in, and try to find a little more detail. If you cannot make progress, then a PMR might be the easiest next step.
