Hi masters,
For the channel atribete CONNAME, when the value is without port number like '192.168.1.1' added, 'cause I know most of them should be like 'ip(port)', does it mean it uses 1414 as the default port?
Thanks in advance. |

Well, often that is what you end up with but it's not quite as simple as that. MQ will using the following search order for the port.
1. Any port number in the CONNAME. eg MYHOST(2345)
2. The default port specified for the QM in the QM.INI file (if any)
3. The value for service 'MQSeries' in the TCP services file (ie. response from getservbyname())
4. and, if all else fails, 1414
Hope this helps,
Paul. _________________ Paul Clarke
