Heck of a lot of fixes in 8.0.0.3. Quite a number relevant to our site. Looking forward to upgrading....! |

Thanks for being so observant Peter!
Quite a surprise. IBM had just a few weeks ago changed the FP 3 date from mid-October to simply "4Q". So, not expecting to see the new fixpack until December, we finished upgrading all our 8.0.0.2 systems with a combined ifix earlier this week. Oh well, one way to keep our admins busy. |

Were they supposed to be in FP3?
Have you asked IBM for FP3 compatible ones? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

1. Don't know, as I said FP3's debut this week was unexpected. But since the latest APAR is just 2 weeks old, I doubt it was even on the FP team's radar.
2. Did that as soon as I finished comparing the APAR lists
Update from IBM:
FP3 was actually cut 8 weeks back, so would of course be missing all APARs newer than that. And unless we have other new difficulties with FP2+, we will likely wait for FP4, due early next year, which has been guaranteed to include the rest of our current APARs. |

can I ignore the below error while installing the fixpack for toolkit ?
anyhow it's not a problem with fixpack 8.0.03.
Problem during session finalization.

What do the errors tell you?
The answer is that you have installed the SVN plugins. Because they are non standard elements (As far a broker is concerned they can't be validate.
You could always DELETE them before applying the update and then re-install them afterwards. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Badly installed SVN plugin.
Install the SVN plugin without the mylyn subcomponent! _________________ MQ & Broker admin |
