Hi, I have tried making use of file transfer on MQ version 7.0 through command line that is by using mqftsnd and mqftrcv commands. It is working fine for the queue managers within the system. Can anyone please tell me how do I make use of this command if I need to send my files to a queue manager present on the remote machine.
You need to set up the objects relevant to distributed queuing, i.e. those necessary to send messages between queue managers. Alternatively, you can use the client versions of the sample application to connect directly to the remote queue manager(s).
Some friendly words of warning: Do not so much as contemplate using the sample application in anger, especially as it is deprecated in WMQ v7.1 onwards and does not work with the later versions (or at least not in bindings mode). _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys.
