Push back on this idiot requirement?
Develop a mechanism to cause your flow to switch to a new file (presumably with a different name) at 5pm?
Other solutions are undoubtably possible, but I like that first one. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Certainly.
This is a very silly idea, and you should tell that to the person who gave you the task so he tells you that you don't have to do it.
If compelled to do it even though it's silly, you should develop a way of switching the file in use at 5pm. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Have you looked at the samples?

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

With a flow.
Seriously, that's a "how do I use WMB" question. There are a number of steps, including but not limited to handling the file formats.
Consider what you'd need to do to perform this task with Java or C++. Use the same process with WMB. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.
