Hello,

I have 2 distinct questions :

1- When you define a person in the BuildTime "STAFF" tab, on the authorization tab, there are the fields "CATEGORY" and "ADMINISTRATION CATEGORY" where you can indicate a category.

I would like to know the differences between these 2 fields : I mean what are the different actions that are authorized by the "ADMINISTRATION CATEGORY" and not by the "CATEGORY" field.

2- When you do an export from the BuildTime menu, you can choose a "deep" option, does selecting this option mean you include subprocess or is it something else ?

THX FOR YOUR HELP.

Answer to question #2: Export deep means that you export the FDL objects associated with whatever you have selected to export. This means that exporting a process with the deep option export all program registrations & data structures associated with all activities in your process, the input & output data structure for your process model, and other processes (and associated FDL objects - as above) recursively if you have any process activities in your model.

However, I found that (last time I tried) UPES definitions, roles, and user IDs don't get exported even when they are explicitly specified - (this may have been fixed)

OK... there are 2 types of authorizaton BASIC and ADMINISTRATION. If you have the BASIC authorization you can start process models belonging to the category... If you have ADMIN authorization you can also Suspend, Resume, Terminate, Restart, and Delete.
