Hi,
I need to setup SSL configuration between HP-UX (MQ Client) and AIX (MQ Server).
When i run the command 'gk7cmd' in client machine it is giving error "The Java Cryptographic Extension(JCE) files were not found.
Please check that the JCE files have been installed in the correct directory"
In HP-UX machine we have both MQ client and server software installed.
I have set the class path in Client machine as '/opt/mqm/ssl/'.
MQ Client seems not installed properly on this machine , as I could see ‘ssl’ folder was not created under /opt/mqm/ and java files are not available. I tried manually creating ssl folder and copied java files under /opt/mqm/.
Still getting same error. Also observed 'MQSERIES.MQM-KEYMAN' is not installed it seems as when i executed below command to find list of MQ components i got below:

MQ Client Machine Details:
OS Details: HP-UX ausmfg02 B.11.11 U 9000/800 1149424635 unlimited-user license
MQ client Version: 6.0.2.3

su - **** logon as root
pkginfo | grep gsk **** Check what is installed
**** you should see the following.
# pkginfo | grep gsk
application gsk7bas Certificate and SSL Base Runtime (gsk7bas)
application gsk7bas64 Certificate and SSL Base Runtime (gsk7bas64)
#
**** Remove the programs
pkgrm gsk7bas
pkgrm gsk7bas64
**** Reinstall gsk |

WMQ 6.0 has reached "End of Support" on 30 Sept 2012.
If you wish to persist in using this level of WMQ, then
- Uninstall your mqm and gsk packages
- Reinstall your desired mqm and gsk packages
- Apply WMQ 6.0.2.12 maintenance
You will get far better results.
Of course, for best results ensure that you meet the pre-reqs and co-reqs of WMQ 7.5.0.2 and upgrade/migrate to this version. |

Thanks guys for your response.
I have removed and installed gsk7bas programs..but got same error.
Will uninstall mqm & gsk packages as suggested by Jospeh and work with newer version.
Once again thanks for your help. |
