Hi,
can anyone help me to install Message Test utility MA0T support pack in Unix server and to test it?
in the document istallation steps are given for Windows only.

2. Installation
Unzip the “MA0T.zip” package into a directory of your choice making sure to use the “Use
folder names” option when doing the Extract.
• For execution the following files are required. Their directories need to be in the
“Path” system variable.
o MsgTest.exe Extracted to “..\MsgTest\bin”
o mqic32.dll Usually installed in “..\Program Files\IBM\Websphere
MQ\bin”. Requires Websphere MQ to be installed, either Client or Server
versions.
o libexpat.dll Extracted to ..\MsgTest\bin. Also can be extracted from
“..\MsgTest\Expat-1.95.8\expat_win32bin_1_95_8.exe
• If you are using an XML editor that can make use of XML Schema then copy the file
“../MsgTest/Schema/MsgTest.xsd” to an appropriate directory as per your XML
editor’s requirements.
• If you want to compile the utility to run on a platform other than Windows and MQ
V6.0 then refer to Appendix “D” for more information.
• If you intend running the test scripts in directory ..\TestScripts\Scripts then installing
to directory \MsgTest will save you from having to change the <Dir> values in the
scripts.

Thanks in advance.
Rahul

@Rahul

I think you should start a new topic.

It looks like the moderator has split this.

Rahul -
Maybe you should review the supportPac and see if it's actually available for Unix. Perhaps there's a separate download.

Perhaps you should contact the author or maintainer of the supportPac directly and find out if there are different steps for Unix.

I used this successfully on AIX many years ago. As I recall, I needed to compile the tool for the platform.

I think they will give you an MQ Client and Server version.

I have not used this in many years but did find it very useful oh so long ago.
