Every once in a while i have a receiver channel that cannot be stopped. The channel can be stopped on the remote end, and if i issue the stop channel command, it just stays at status 'stopping'. When i shut the queue manager down, I cannot restart it (the queue manager) without a reboot because of 'hung processes'
Any idea what is going on? |

Well, this may not apply to you, but I've noticed on Unix systems, if you have the channel listener or trigger monitor started via /etc/inittab, and set the respawn attribute, then everytime you try to shutdown the queue manager (which automatically stops any listeners or trigger monitors) inittab will immediately restart them, causing problems when trying to shut down the queue manager. _________________ Brandon Duncan
