I have been using Omegamon for Messaging for quite some time and heavily utlize situations in ITM to alert me of problems wiith MQ, etc. In the last few years our organization has been utlizing MQ PUB SUB quite a bit. I've been asked if it is possible to monitor PUB SUB Topics, and then to alert if specific subscriptions were not active. So this just got me looking around and I have found very few situations at all that pertain to PUB SUB for MQ.

Does anyone do any type of monitoring for PUB SUB and if so what is it that you are monitoring?

More specifically, the applications wanted me to monitor certain topics and if there were specific subscriptions that were not active, then to alert them and even possibly execute a program to define those subscriptions. From an MQ admin perspective, I would think this is more of an Applications responsibility, but nonetheless I figured I would see if there was something already easilly available via Omegamon.
