First please excuse my ignorance, if any, that comes across from this questions as i am new-ish to DP.
Have done a search within the forum and on Google doesn't seem to be anything there regarding the subject I have a question for so before i approach IBM direct thought i would try the forum
so....
Use of WADL's in Datapower - I have used WSDL until now and from that get my schema validation etc etc but have no idea if or how WADL does this, if it can at all even. The reason for the WADL over WSDL is the external client that this request is targeted at, wants the message format in JSON and will only be supplying WADL's i.e exposing a REST service their end. There are supplied scripts to convert incoming request to JSONX (XML tree) and then a conversion from that to JSON format - tried this in poc works fine but i wanted to be able to validate the constructed message before it leaves our DP devices, but my impression would seem it only validates against a json.xsd which presumably is just syntax and standard structure validation not the kind of "comlete" validation I would get from a wsdl.
Help (not criticism) would be most helpful from anyone who can cast thus over my predicament.
