Hi,
I have just downloaded and installed MS0P (7.1.0.3) on my Windows-7 workstation having MQ Explorer 7.5.
I have observed that:
1- Qmgrs on Solaris and AIX (MQ v 7.0 & 6.0): FDCs are not displayed (Report page comes up empty...despite the fact that there are FDCs).
2-Qmgrs on Windows (MQ V7.0 & 6.0): FDCs are displayed as expected
2-Qmgrs on Windows (MQ 7.5): giving an error saying "cannot read error log".
This is the very first installation of MS0P. I have deleted the supportpack did strmqcfg -i , followed by strmqcfg. Stopped the MQ Explorer, and reinstalled MS0P. It did not help. Besides, strangely enough, MQ Explorer remembered the "Administered Servers" from the previous installation.
I could not find any logged errors . Any ideas what may be causing this?
TIA,
MR |

I can see a problem with the FFDC display on Unix systems where the underlying toolkit is not behaving as expected. But I can work round that. I'm in the middle of an update to MS0P at the moment, so can't release a patch immediately but the next rev will sort that out.
(One of the enhancements planned for the next release is to allow user-level trace to be enabled so we can debug other problems faster.)
I can't see any problems with the error log displays; they are working fine on my machines. |

Excellent! Thanks Mark.. What time-frame do you have in mind for the next release?
Also, any idea why FFDCs cannot be displayed on the v7.5 qmgrs on Windows 2008?
Best regards,
