Hi Guys, currently I am running MQ 7.0 on a Windows 32 bit and am going to upgrade it to 7.5 Windows 64 bit. I have some MQ 6.0 clients connecting who are external to my organization so can not control their versioning so if I assume they won't be upgrading their client software would they have any issues connecting?

I have read this from IBM, but there is nothing about clients connecting to 32 bit previously to 64 bit

There won't be any issues for the clients related to the 32 bitness or 64 bitness of the Queue Manager they remotely connect to.

Just make sure that you have both versions 32bit and 64bit for any user exits. If you create a new qmgr you will notice that there are now 2 directories for user exits. The names pretty much speak for themselves.

Thanks for the replies.. I don't use user exits so should be ok there.
