What have you tried? What were the results?
How do you stop any other process?

This is kind of basic, but if I wanted to do this (and I don't know why I would want to), but I would start MQ Explorer, go to Services, right click on the Trigger Monitor, and click on 'Stop".

In the general case you can often end an MQ program by inhibiting the input queue for MQGET. So, to end a trigger monitor you can often issue a command like:
alter ql(SYSTEM.DEFAULT.INITIATION.QUEUE) get(disabled)
Clearly you need to change the name of the queue to suit.
Unfortunately you often also have to manually re-enable gets before you start the program, it just depends on the program. Channels, for example, will re-enable automatically.
